Joe Jonas at the Microsoft Grand Opening

We got to Valley Fair at around 10:30 and immediately tried finding where the stage was going to be. It was the parking lot area outside of the food court. We lined up immediately. It was weird because one of my managers was in line too and she saw me. Haha. We waited around until 12:30 when they finally let us in. Me, Carla, Athena, and Karen took red carpet pictures. Fucking paparazzi! We got to the right side barricade. This was the closest I’ve ever seen a Jonas Brother up close. We waited around for 2 hours and all this free food they handed out was so amazing! Team Microsoft, sorta, but not really. We talked with the people around us and the little girl behind us was so precious. Michaela/Mikayla won a Joe Jonas signed guitar through the raffle! Lucky girl.
While waiting this DJ had a lot of different songs playing and the security guard across the street danced all adorable, BUT he was only cute from afar. Then finally at 2:30 Mr. Joe Jonas comes out for his set. Me and Carla were fangirling so hard. I’d like to think he looked in my direction a few times, but he could be looking at someone else too. Hopeful wishing? Yes. He sang a lot of new songs that I didn’t know, but his song Kleptomaniac was fun! And when he sang When You Look Me In The Eyes/Hello Beautiful and Burnin’ Up it was love <3. At the end of his set, we all ran to the bathroom so we could freshen up.
Finally we got in the line. We were one of the last 50 to meet him and it went by so fast. Me, Carla, and Karen made Athena go first since she’s the Nick lover. Her picture came out cute. Karen’s was hella fast so I was standing there and he was watching me come close. I asked him What’s up and he said he was good then asked me how I was. I told him I was excited and I was fumbling over words and the damn photographer took a picture when I was talking! They’re lucky it came out somewhat decent. I finally asked for a hug and it was magic. Lol. Then when I said bye I walked past him and he said it was nice to meet you and I was just like you too. I almost forgot my bag because of that! They handed me a signed picture of Joe and we were on our merry way. Athena had to go to work so Carla’s brother picked us up and dropped me and Karen off at her house since my car was there. I also dropped Karen off at our cousin’s house before I went home. Best night ever!
